Not long ago (on October 26th, 2015, to be precise), I gave a talk at Wichita State University in Kansas. My WSU lecture was called “Superheroes, Stand-up, and Sci-Fi: An Animated Life,” and in it, I spoke about my writing career. Just before the lecture, I was interviewed by author and WSU professor Darren DeFrain at the campus’s Media Resource Center for the university’s television station (WSUTV). Both events were great fun, and in both of them, I attempted the difficult feat of talking about my life as a writer while trying NOT to sound like a pompous windbag. Was I successful? Check out the video below – which combines footage from both events – and find out!
